Other than Kevin being a little cranky as he gets used to sitting down for 30 minutes at a time for the class. All has gone well. I’m very proud of them and took a video and pictures of the while first days activity. Here is part one and two after the jump and i’ll have the rest of them up by Monday.

Here is a video of the kids starting off the day with a nice breakfast. Instilling in the the fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Here they are saying the Pledge of Allegiance for the first time in school. Kevin and Mela do a great job. But sadly from the look on Victorias face I fear she might be a member of Alqueda:)

Well the Journey has begun and I’ve put together a site where I am going to track all the work of the kids. I’m going to be scanning in all of the work the kids do and create an archive so if anybody is interested in following along with the kids education you can check out http://scholasticstandards.com I will be launching that hopefully by Monday and I’ll be updating it on a daily basis with the help of Maria now that we both have our own computer.
